Veronika, from youth, wanted to work on tree care despite her relations’ advices. At the beginning, she voluntary took care on trees in national parks regards to her desire to save the trees. She kept on her passion, despite her journalist job, by passing a tree work diploma and she learnt a lot about job by work experiences.



Veronika preferred working in trees instead of usual woman work in horticulture and gardening (maintenance of green areas, small pruning, landscape architecture). “Arboriculture is a very interesting topic”, she said, “Because it’s always on move and her knowledge has to be regularly updated”.



Then she worked during one year in a firm before set up her own tree work society for the next 25 years. At 44 years old, she passed an ETT (European Tree Technician) diploma. And for 2 years, she only realised consulting.



Today Veronika wants to retire soon but gradually to have more time for her leisure.
